Hi, I’m Starr – the artist behind Starrstruck Ink! ✨ This month marks one year of owning my private tattoo studio, and I realized I’ve never formally introduced myself.
I was born and raised in Post Falls, Idaho, and have been obsessed with art for as long as I can remember — from ballpoint pen sketches to realism portraits. My first tattoo was at 14 (I know… crazy 😅) and I’ve been in love with the art form ever since.
Before tattooing, I worked in healthcare as a CNA, medical scribe, and TMS technician. I loved helping people, but something was missing. With my husband’s encouragement, I took the leap into tattooing — and I haven’t looked back.
When I’m not in the studio, you can usually find me at home with my husband and our three cats or spending time with my family.❤️ Now, two years into this career and one year into running Starrstruck Ink, I feel beyond blessed to do what I love every day.
